With more than 15 years of hands-on construction experience, including repairs, fencing, decking, exterior upgrades, and structural improvements, we bring practical building knowledge to every project. Our founder and owner, Todd Rowe, also has 9 years of experience as a union millwright and completed the Northern California Carpenters Training Program for Millwrights. This diverse background gives him extensive knowledge across multiple areas of construction, from detailed mechanical work, welding, fabrication, and precision installation to carpentry, repairs, and exterior home improvements. .
Todd grew up in a contractor family and began learning home improvement and repair work at a young age. Over the years, he built a trusted reputation with homeowners throughout Sacramento and El Dorado County through his company, formerly known as Sierra Nevada Fence & Deck.
Today, Todd has shifted his focus toward wildfire protection and home hardening, helping homeowners adapt to California’s evolving Zone 0 guidance and the real fire risks facing Sierra foothill communities. His broad construction background allows Home Hardening Pros to identify vulnerable areas of a home and recommend practical, durable upgrades that can help reduce wildfire exposure.
